Executive Assistant to the Chief Communications Officer
Hello everyone! My name is Marcus Almeida. I am currently in my first-year of studies in the Networking and I.T. Security program here at UOIT. After only a few short months, I have already found myself loving the program, the material, the people and my professors. I remember the first time I went onto the Internet and so many questions and curiosity flooded my head. The question that has always stuck with me to this day is “How can the world be totally connected and do so at such high speeds?”. As the Executive Assistant to the Chief Communications Officer, I strive to ensure there is open and consistent communication between the NETsoc executive team and the student body. If you have any concerns, or have any questions feel free to ask me or contact us.

I am intrigued and eager to learn all that is offered through this program. As your first year liaison, I hope to share this intrigue and eagerness with you and encourage you to attend our events in order to benefit from the skills and expertise of upper year students, workshops and industry-leading guest speakers.
